One of the most common question that we get asked is when customer is on a phone call using their desk phone, but they need to continue the call on their mobile phone or have go on the road.

The solution is to park the call, then pick up call on their 3CX softphone or transfer to their cell number.

Option 1 – Parking A Call on Desk phone or 3cx Softphone

To park a call using BLINK Transfer:

  • Press Tran Button, select BLIND
  • Enter *00 to specify the parking orbit.

For example *00 will place the call in the parking orbit 0.
or *01 will place the call in the parking orbit 1.

To pick up a parked call:

  • Dial *10 to unpark the park orbit number 0

For example *10 will pick up any calls parked in parking orbit 0
*11 will pick up any calls parked in parking orbit 1

Option 2 – Transfer to a cell phone

NOTE: Transferring the call to cell number may have better call quality if you are driving because the celluar signal is usually stronger than your data signal.

To transfer a call:

  • press Tran Button, select BLIND
  • Dial Cell Number you like to transfer the call to.
  • Press Tran> to complete procedure

NOTE: If you want to forward calls to your cell phone, you can set your status to AWAY and have it configured to forward to cell number. The cell number needs to be added to your extension first.
